Role Overview

Bayshore HealthCare provides home and community health care services. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Caregiver to join our team. Employment Type: Casual Permanent. Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management. Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events. Administer personal care services in accordance with the care plan directives. Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest possible standard.Assist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to meet their specific needs. Perform specialized procedures for clients where training has been provided while demonstrating current competency. Observe and document client conditions in line with company standards; promptly report any unusual events or changes in client condition to the Supervisor or Office.Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices. Completion of formal, accredited PSW training program and/or relevant experience. Strong knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service. Ability to communicate in spoken and written English; proficiency in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Cantonese, Mandarin considered an asset. Provide high‑quality care services with current knowledge of community care practices.Physically assist clients with movement and/or repositioning; able to lift 23kg, squat, bend, stand and reach. Reliable mode of transportation; driver's license and automobile required. Ability to produce a clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check. Additional Information
