Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development and Scientific Affairs, you will play a key strategic and operational role in shaping market access, pricing, and value strategies and leading Patient Support Programs (PSPs). You will ensure a strong alignment between reimbursement pathways, patient needs, program execution to support optimal patient access and enhance the overall patient experience. Key responsibilities - Lead the development and execution of market access, pricing, and value strategies for generic and branded products in the Canadian public and private markets; - Align PSP strategies,
service models, and patient pathways with reimbursement requirements, payer expectations, and pricing strategies to support optimal and sustainable patient access; - Oversee and review provincial formulary submissions and private insurer processes, while managing relationships with key reimbursement stakeholders (INESSS, RAMQ, private insurers, and associations); - Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of PSPs (including operational performance management, vendor oversight, and service delivery) while ensuring operational excellence, quality, and continuity of care; - Contribute to economic value analyses, benchmarking, value messaging, and pricing strategies, leveraging PSP insights and real-world evidence (RWE) to strengthen payer engagement and value propositions; - Support the generation and use of RWE and patient-level insights to inform market access strategies, program optimization, and decision-making; - Participate in pre-launch and launch activities, and product life-cycle management (LCM) by ensuring alignment between access strategies, PSP readiness, and patient onboarding pathways; - Monitor regulatory trends, reimbursement environments, and program performance indicators to inform strategic priorities and continuous improvement; - Supervise and coach resources under their responsibility, as applicable; - Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, medical, regulatory, and market access teams to ensure coordinated execution, resolve operational challenges, and maximize patient and business outcomes; - Perform any other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or required by the position. Requirements - Hold a bachelor’s degree in science, pharmacy, or a related field. A graduate degree in pharmacoeconomic, drug development, or business administration is a significant asset; - Bring a minimum of 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience, including significant experience in market access and proven involvement in Patient Support Programs (PSPs), with at least 3 years in a strategic or managerial role; - Strong understanding of PSPs operations, the Canadian PSP landscape, payer environment, and reimbursement processes; - Bilingualism and excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (to interact with partners outside Québec); - Proficiency with MS Office and knowledge of specialized tools (e.g., IQVIA); - Availability for occasional travel, if needed.
