Server/cashier Brossard

Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our agile restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, accurately handling transactions, and supporting food preparation and sanitation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a quick-paced workplace. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders using Micros POS or similar systems Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures Prepare and serve food items following safety and sanitation standards Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking or assembly of menu items Ensure timely service by managing order flow efficiently and coordinating with kitchen staff Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction Skills Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently in a busy environment Food industry or restaurant experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members seamlessly Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales potential This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills in food service, cashiering, and customer interaction will be valued.
