POSITION DESCRIPTION: Le Cherbourg, managed by Cogir, offers a friendly and stimulating work environment. We have a dedicated and caring team for our seniors. We are currently looking for a server to join our dining room team. Hours: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Opportunities for additional hours during the summer. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Portion the desserts Food Services - Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork - Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s) - Greet clients and orient new residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table - Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable - In cooperation with the kitchen staff, prepare daily and à la carte menus and answer residents' questions regarding meals and preparation - Maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and the workspace - Perform other related duties - Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an significant asset BENEFITS: - Referral Program - Free meals in the dining room - Free parking - Floating days off - Vacation - Employee Assistance Program - Group insurance - Stimulating challenges, up to your ambitions! - A welcoming and tight-knit team!
