Maintenance Attendant (Brossard)

YOUR FUTURE TEAM Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of a small team of maintenance attendants and technicians, responsible for responding to guest maintenance requests of the hotel. WHAT YOU''LL DO Proceed to visual inspection of the equipment Actively participate in preventive building maintenance procedures Perform daily maintenance work and reflect their activities in their schedule Perform interior and exterior work Report any defective systems and make the necessary corrections Possibility of gathering materiel outside the property Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects by move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladder Responsible for maintaining all mechanical component of the building under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor Proceed to minor electrical work (ex: light bulbs change) Ensure that service manuals are follow during preventive maintenance, repair or replacement of systems or components and adhere to sound engineering practices, building codes and health & safety precautions WHAT YOU WILL BRING 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role High school diploma completed; a vocational diploma (DEP) in General Building Maintenance is an asset Friendly, eager to learn, and professional Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Building mechanical skills or relevant experience required Solid communication skills with various departments including facilities, housekeeping, front desk, and tenants (if applicable) WHAT WE OFFER Passionate about travel?
