Do you naturally think of the details that make all the difference? We are looking for an organized, attentive and versatile Sales Coordinator to ensure the smooth coordination of group stays, meetings and events. In this role, you will be an important point of contact between guests, the Sales team, Operations, Food and Beverage, and various suppliers, making sure every detail is well coordinated and that the experience meets our standards. You will actively contribute to coordinating group, meeting room and event requests, while supporting the achievement of established sales objectives.
What You'll Do
Coordinate requests related to meeting rooms, banquets, and corporate and social events, in collaboration with the Business Development Managers.
Follow up on group stays, including room reservations, meeting rooms, event needs and operational details.
Meet or contact guests and event contacts to clarify the needs related to their event and provide attentive follow-up throughout the process.
Coordinate activities according to contractual agreements, in collaboration with other departments and external suppliers.
Act as the link between guests, internal teams and Food and Beverage partners to ensure food and beverage needs are well understood, communicated and delivered.
Participate in operational meetings, including BEO meetings, to communicate important information related to groups and events.
Maximize the use of meeting spaces and contribute to revenue optimization.
Actively contribute to achieving budgetary objectives related to groups, meeting rooms, banquets and related services.
Complete the necessary administrative follow-ups, including contracts, final details, rooming lists, special requests and billing.
Provide general support to the Sales team, including requests, quotes and follow-ups when required.
What You'll Bring
Two to three years of experience in hospitality, event coordination, sales or a similar role.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Opera PMS is an asset.
The ability to manage multiple priorities at once in a dynamic environment.
A strong sense of organization, planning and attention to detail.
A collaborative, proactive and service-oriented approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Occasional availability on evenings and weekends, depending on event needs.
