Overview Languages English or French Education - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 1 to less than 7 months On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment - Outdoors Work setting - Greenhouse Responsibilities Tasks - Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation - Plan the incorporation of landscape structures - Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements - Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning - Manage landscaping projects - Prepare proposals - Estimate costs - Write specifications - Survey and assess designated sites - Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens - Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions - Assess the health of lawns - Direct crews who maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes - Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease - Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes - Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens - Plant and move trees - Tree removal Additional information Personal suitability - Client focus - Flexibility - Organized - Reliability - Team player - Punctuality Perks Long term benefits - Long-term care insurance Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ot9rk
