About the Position
Senior Network Advisor– Reporting to the Director of IT Infrastructure. Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Agropur’s critical network infrastructure, ensuring scalability, resilience, and modernization across all sites and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities
Translate enterprise architecture and business needs into practical, implementable network designs. Act as a technical authority and escalation point for complex network solutions (Level3+). Bridge operational teams and infrastructure architecture by ensuring design feasibility, standardization, and long‑term sustainability.Drive continuous improvement by aligning operational execution with long‑term technology roadmaps. Design, develop, and validate complex network solutions; produce architecture diagrams and implementation standards. Develop test plans and validation frameworks; oversee lifecycle management (capacity, upgrades, obsolescence).Maintain operational excellence and governance: define standards, best practices, and procedures. Ensure quality and compliance in change management; identify risks and define mitigation strategies. Advise on technology strategy and roadmap; evaluate vendors and emerging technologies. Lead cross‑functional initiatives (IT/OT, cloud, security); interface with managed service providers and external stakeholders.Coach analysts and strengthen team capabilities. Qualifications
10+ years of experience in large enterprise network environments. Progression from operational roles (L2/L3) to design, engineering, and advisory responsibilities. Expert‑level knowledge of core network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP). Hands‑on experience with enterprise routing/switching (Cisco), wireless, firewalls (PaloAlto or equivalent), SD‑WAN (e.g., AristaVelocloud), and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).Strong understanding of ITIL processes and operational governance. Experience with capacity planning, lifecycle management, and risk identification. Knowledge of network performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools. Evidence of architectural design capabilities: translating business needs into scalable, secure, resilient designs and producing documentation.Industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, PaloAlto PCNSE, Fortinet FCP/FCSS/FCE) and cloud networking certifications (AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer) preferred. Experience in manufacturing or operational technology environments is an advantage. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.Benefits
