Role and Context The licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Maintenance (AME‑M) performs inspections, repairs, and mechanical adjustments required to ensure aircraft airworthiness. The incumbent follows technical instructions and strict regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities - Perform scheduled mechanical inspections in accordance with the maintenance programme. - Carry out repairs and component replacements. - Document completed work in accordance with current procedures. - Apply relevant service bulletins and airworthiness directives. - Participate in troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis. - Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures. - Work closely with other technicians and supervisors. - Maintain up‑to‑date technical and regulatory knowledge. - Properly use hand tools and specialised equipment. - Contribute to the company’s safety culture. Core Competencies - Mechanical rigour. - Personal discipline. Position Requirements - AME licence – Category M2. - Knowledge of standard maintenance procedures and technical documentation. - Ability to meet deadlines and follow safety protocols. - Proficiency in reading technical drawings and manufacturer manuals. - Safe operation of heavy equipment and specialised tools. - Ability to work online aircraft or in a hangar setting. - Fluency in French is required; strong English proficiency is also required.
