Dishwasher/Prep Cook (Burlington)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized work environment while assisting with food preparation and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, food safety, and supporting culinary excellence in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities - Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards - Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic meal assembly - Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery of dishes - Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces - Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure proper handling of all food items - Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of needs - Support the team during busy service hours to ensure efficient restaurant operations Requirements - Prior experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or food handling is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential - Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail - Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude - Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed - Basic understanding of restaurant or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required Join our team to contribute to a welcoming dining experience through excellent food service support and kitchen cleanliness.
