Assembly and Machine Operator (Nashdale)

Job Overview: We are hiring for several positions. Depending on experience and skill, the role may included assembly, cleaning, and machine operation. Day Shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm 5 days per week. An attendance bonus is paid bi-weekly if employee has no un-authorized leave during that period. Job Duties may include: - Load paint line with product by hand or with a hoist - Assemble and package ladders, carts and other products as they come off the paint line - Quality control inspections during packaging process - Identify and label products correctly - Skidding and stacking product for shipping - Cleaning: cleaning of offices, washrooms, lunchrooms, etc. Qualifications: - Ability to lift 55 lbs - Requires good hand/eye/foot coordination - Cleaning/Janitorial experience an asset. - Must be able to stand, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel and/or crouch for extended periods of time - While performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions\Vision 20/20 corrected and normal hearing range - Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment – cool in winter months and hot in the summer months - Secondary School - Speak and Read English Pay: From $18.50 per hour Benefits: - Dental care - Disability insurance - Life insurance - In office parking - Profit sharing - Vision care Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o4ujo
