Marketing Support Contractor (Project-Based Opportunity) Remote | Approx. 10 Hours per Week Contract Prospect | Estimated 120 Total Project Hours $20–$25/hour CAD Outlined Careers is looking for a creative and reliable Marketing Support Contractor to assist with a variety of marketing and brand-related projects over the coming months. This opportunity is ideal for a student, recent graduate, or early-career marketing professional seeking hands-on experience while supporting a growing career-coaching and talent-consulting business. This is a flexible, project-based contract opportunity estimated at approximately 120 total hours, averaging around 10 hours per week. The successful candidate must operate as an independent contractor and have, or be willing to establish, a Sole Proprietorship or LLC/incorporated business structure for invoicing purposes. What You’ll Support • Social media content creation and scheduling • Marketing coordination and administrative support • Canva graphics and branded content development • LinkedIn marketing support • Basic website and content updates • Email marketing assistance • Research and support related to ongoing marketing and business initiatives • General project-based marketing support as needed Must Have • Currently completing, or recently completed, post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, Public Relations, or a related field • Equivalent hands-on training or certifications (including Canva Design School certifications/courses) will also be considered • Comfortable using AI tools to support content creation, marketing coordination, research, and workflow efficiency • Strong written communication skills • Comfortable using Canva and social media platforms • Organized, dependable, and able to manage deadlines independently • Ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment Nice to Have • Experience with LinkedIn marketing or personal branding content • Familiarity with tools such as Mailchimp, Leadpages, or scheduling platforms • Previous freelance, internship, or project-based marketing experience • Interest in career coaching, recruitment, consulting, or entrepreneurship • Portfolio samples, creative projects, or social media work examples Outlined Careers is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible recruitment process.
