Industrial Maintenance Electrician (Burlington)

JOB DESCRIPTION The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for preventative, predicative, and reactive maintenance for the plant equipment and building, ensuring all equipment is operating at maximum efficiency. SHIFT(S) AVAILABLE - Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm M-F SPECIFIC DUTIES - Responsible for preventative / predicative maintenance inspections as per schedule, and to carryout routine repairs as needed and report all finding. - Responsible for reactive maintenance of plant equipment and building. - Required to plan and document repairs and projects. - Keep track of consumables and communicate what needs to be ordered. - Enter data on Maintenance Activity Log located at production equipment at time of repair. - Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training, as provided by the company or elsewhere subject to Company approval. - Attend meetings as required. - All other tasks assigned by supervisor. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in a similar position. - Experience in Metal Stamping. - Experience with Robotic Weld Cells. - Capable of reading detailed equipment drawings. - Fully experienced in the use of maintenance equipment. - Knowledge of Electro-Mechanical Controls. - WHMIS Knowledge. - Operating Work Instructions. - Operating Procedure. - Measurement Systems (ie. Vernier, Micrometer, Multimeter) Education - Valid Ontario Electrical Certification (442A).
