Installation And Service Technician Burlington

Our client in the Burlington area ( Burloak Dr and Hwy 403) is seeking an Installation and Service Technician. This is a Temp to hire position, depending on performance. Day shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm - Monday to Friday Pay: $19 to $21/hr Job duties: Responsible for the installation and service of systems onto trailers, and coordinating completed manufactured goods with the install & service team to deliver product to customers on time. Responsible for making every effort to get each assembly, installation, and service task done within the prescribed timelines for the task. Read and interpret all order specifications and details and communicate effectively and accurately the requirements to other install team members. Responsible for assisting or guiding other assembly, installation and service team members on tasks to be undertaken on each order and sets priority for work and work assignments. Assists other team members in completing work when required. Troubleshoots and resolves installation issues to keep work completion on target for delivery dates. Responsible for following all health and safety regulations and wearing PPE. Responsible for ensuring all work identified on the work order is completed with adherence to quality and standard timelines for completion of the work Assists with inventory management, and identifies any inventory shortages that may impact assembly and installation prior to work on unit commencing and communicates needs to purchasing/production. Complete Quality Control check on all work completed and check for rolling performance, branding and adherence to customer order details. Requirements: Must be fluent in communicating in English, both written and oral. A minimum of 3 years in the service/repair industry as a technician is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Must be experienced in team leadership, decision making, and priority setting and have an excellent customer service mentality. Must be proficient in the use of power hand tools and be able to read a tape measure. Must be reliable and punctual.
