Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician III role in Burlington, WA.
Our client is a well-established industry leader in solar technology, known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced solar stringer machines used in the automation of solar panel production. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on process automation equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal efficiency. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and equipment modifications. Calibrate, align, and test machine systems to ensure accuracy in soldering and string formation processes. Use advanced diagnostic tools, schematics, and software interfaces to support troubleshooting and repair activities.Document all maintenance activities, including parts usage, repair actions, and equipment performance data. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on technical procedures and safe practices. Adhere to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and ensure compliance with workplace and equipment safety standards.
Qualifications Associate’s degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience as a high-level Maintenance Technician, preferably in automation or advanced manufacturing. Strong knowledge of process automation, robotics, PLCs, servo systems, and high-speed automated machinery.Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Experience with soldering or precision assembly processes is a plus. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.Willingness to work swing shifts and adapt to changing production needs.
