ABS Machining is a leading custom fabrication and manufacturing company specializing in manufacturing and production of large, complex welded assemblies ranging from 10,000 lbs to over 200,000 + lbs. Position Overview: We are seeking a general labourer to assist with the Fabrication department. Position based in Mississauga/Burlington. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain a clean, safe and organized workplace - Clean work areas, machinery, and equipment - Load, unload, and move raw materials, tools, as needed - Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely - Measure and sort materials according to instructions - Package and prepare products as instructed - Follow health and safety procedures, including use of PPE - Support warehouse and shop operations as needed - Lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks - Participate in routine housekeeping duties - Work collaboratively with the fabrication team - Follow all health, safety, and environmental requirements (CCOHS/WHMIS).
