Job Overview We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling, excellent customer service skills, and a skilled attitude. Duties Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles and products Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products that meet client needs Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments Upsell additional services or products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalized service Requirements Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a professional salon setting Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients Expertise in various hair styling techniques, coloring, and treatments Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures within a salon environment Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration Ability to perform retail sales and upselling to maximize client satisfaction and revenue opportunities Front desk experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary Skilled appearance and positive attitude with a passion for the beauty industry Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p8ts5
