Dishwasher/prep Cook Burlington

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized work setting while assisting with food preparation and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, food safety, and supporting culinary excellence in a quick-paced setting. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic meal assembly Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery of dishes Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure proper handling of all food items Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of needs Support the team during busy service hours to ensure efficient restaurant operations Requirements Prior experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or food handling is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Robust teamwork skills and positive attitude Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed Basic understanding of restaurant or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required Join our team to contribute to a welcoming dining experience through excellent food service support and kitchen cleanliness.
