Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our energetic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities - Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring. - Cook dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation standards. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper food handling and storage. - Assist with food preparation tasks during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders. - Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards. - Support the team in maintaining a smooth kitchen operation, including stock rotation and inventory management. - Ensure that all food served meets quality standards and presentation expectations. Skills - Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food service environment. - Strong understanding of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices. - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. - Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel. - Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance. - Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a passion for culinary arts is essential.
