Overview Our client in Burlington has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Civil CAD Drafter to join their growing, but established, construction team! In this role, you will be responsible for designing infrastructure and design‑build projects, working with designers, engineers and project managers to produce complete drawing deliverables.

Responsibilities
Develop phased site development 2‑D and 3‑D drawings for construction
Construction site mapping (geolocation)
Material quantity take‑offs (excavation, backfill, gravel road, etc.)
Produce construction sequences for field operations
Coordinate with field superintendents and construction managers, design engineers, and others to meet constructability requirements
Design utilities (underground waterline, wastewater, electrical, etc.)
Qualifications
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
4+ years drafting experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
Extensive experience with 3‑D modeling in grading, ground surfacing, roads, and other civil works
Experience with steel, concrete, and mechanical design is an asset
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Excel
