Line Cook (Burlington)

We are looking for an experienced line cook to join our Squires Gastro Pub help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef’s exact specifications. You will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth. Responsibilities - Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards - Ensure timely and accurate food preparation during service hours - Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment - Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times - Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and kitchen prep duties - Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations - Support daily kitchen operations in both gastrobar and restaurant settings as required Required Qualifications - Minimum 2–3 years of experience working in a professional kitchen - Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment - Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards - Flexible and adaptable to work across gastrobar and restaurant operations - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Preferred Skills - Experience in pub, gastrobar, or casual dining environments - Ability to multitask and perform under pressure - Passion for quality food and customer satisfaction . #HOTJOB Job Types: Full time, Part-time Experience: - Line Cook: 3 years (required) - Gastrobar: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: - culinary arts or related field (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pu0yq
