Work location: 683 10th Street SW, Calgary, AB V3M 3S2 Title of position: 4 Plumbers Terms of employment: Full-time, year-round work Duties: Ability to locate and assess plumbing problems. Install, repair, and maintain domestic, and commercial plumbing fixtures and systems. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems layout. Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors. Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipefittings. Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Ability to communicate effectively with customers to explain plumbing problems and how to fix them.
