SFU International is Simon Fraser University’s hub for international relationships, knowledge and resources to enhance and mobilize the global reach of SFU’s teaching, research and community engagement. **About the Role** This position supports the advancement of international engagement at Simon Fraser University by working across regions to strengthen institutional partnerships. The manager supports the development and implementation of the university’s international strategic plan and provides partnership development support by assisting with the coordination and cultivation of international partners while also supporting the development and delivery of initiatives aligned with university priorities. The position coordinates internal and external communications related to global engagement activities, contributes to institutional reporting and tracking of international partnerships and initiatives, and helps ensure consistent information sharing across units. In addition, the role provides flexible support to regional teams during peak periods, assisting with project coordination, partner engagement activities, and related operational needs. Through these responsibilities, the position contributes to the effective coordination, communication, and reporting of the university’s global engagement efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and engage effectively with internal and external partners. Experience supporting partnership development, project coordination, and institutional reporting is an asset. The candidate should be detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working across diverse cultural and institutional contexts. Sound judgement, initiative, and the ability to synthesize information and communicate it clearly are essential to supporting global engagement initiatives at Simon Fraser University. Full
