Golf Trainer (Burnaby)

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Golf Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to motivate and guide golfers of all skill levels. This role involves providing personalized coaching, enhancing players’ techniques, and fostering a positive learning setting. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele. The Golf Trainer will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring clients achieve their golfing goals through professional instruction. Responsibilities - Conduct individual and group golf lessons tailored to clients’ skill levels and objectives - Demonstrate proper golf techniques, including swing mechanics, putting, and course management - Develop customized training programs to improve client performance - Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to motivate clients - Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for all participants - Manage scheduling of lessons efficiently, ensuring timely sessions - Uphold safety standards on the course and practice areas - Assist with organizing golf clinics, workshops, and special events as needed - Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and progress - Maintain accurate records of client progress and lesson plans Experience - Proven experience in teaching or coaching golf at various skill levels - Strong communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in French is preferred - Demonstrated ability to teach effectively with patience and clarity - Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction - Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple clients simultaneously - Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and foster trust among clients - Prior experience working in a sports or recreation environment is a plus This position offers an engaging opportunity for passionate golf instructors committed to helping others improve their game while delivering outstanding service.
