We are committed to partnering with our customers to grow their business by providing quality products competitively priced Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team. In this role you will assist in the manufacturing, packing and quality control of our products. This is a hands-on position that requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to maintain high safety and quality standards and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Key Responsibilities - Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, and supplies - Operate production machinery and equipment according to safety and efficiency guidelines - Assist in mixing, processing and packing products - Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols - Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and targets - Follow the required company SOP's, GMP's, and Health and Safety Standards - Ensure accuracy of all production data including dates, labels, and packaging - Complete work orders, compliance papers as per requirement - Effective running of all relevant equipment & reporting any equipment defects to the Supervisor - Ensure the product being packed is in the right proper container, tray, bag, box, and to ensure standards are followed when weighing product - Ensure all production materials are available, set up machinery, change equipment, operate & monitor equipment, and replenish materials as needed - Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred but not required - Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. and stand for extended period - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Commitment to maintaining food safety, hygiene and quality standards - Team oriented with effective communication skills - Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed What we offer - Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company - A supportive and inclusive work culture - Training and development to enhance your skills Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits: - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o4qd7
