Engage and inspire students in grades 6–12 as a Youth Math Trainer at Future Bridge Academy in Burnaby, BC. Lead cutting-edge lessons and foster confidence in math skills. Future Bridge Academy Program CentreCanada Newcomer Services Society needs Math Trainers for its engaging summer program. This role offers the prospect to teach, tutor, and create fun math content. No prior teaching credentials are necessary as comprehensive training will be provided to successful candidates. Key Responsibilities: • Tutor students in small groups to support their learning • Prepare for and guide students through math competitions • Create educational resources and mock exams • Facilitate enrichment activities to deepen math understanding • Record student engagement and assess their progress Requirements: • Aged 15–30 years on the start date • Must hold a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) • Fluency in English required; other languages supported • Available for full time, in-person work • No formal teaching credential needed, all training provided Be part of the Future Bridge Academy team and make a difference in the lives of students by enhancing their math skills and confidence.
