This is an exciting prospect for a candidate who is pursuing their CPA designation, as this position will count towards the required work experience hours. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Intermediate Accountant will assist in the preparation of divisional/banner financial statements and supporting schedules according to Monthly/Quarterly/Annual close schedules, ensuring integrity of financial information and compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Reconcile balance sheet accounts to the general ledger Monitor and review inventory provision accounts Prepare monthly reports and perform related analysis Prepare reports as requested for decision-making purposes Assist team members as needed Perform other related duties Qualifications Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in business, commerce, accounting or related discipline Minimum three years of relevant work experience Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including prior experience in use of pivot tables, advanced formulas, filtering and organizing large volume of data Preferably enrolled in the CPA program and near completion Proven ability to work as part of a team contributing to a positive and progressive work environment Ability to meet deadlines during peak periods Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nmdv9
