About the Opportunity We’re supporting a growing engineering and design team as they look to bring on a Project Designer III to help scale delivery across a high-volume telecom infrastructure program. This is a senior-level role within a well-established team focused on outside plant design. With robust project demand and an active pipeline, this position plays a key role in supporting ongoing delivery across the POLE program. Employment Type: 1-year contract; possible extension What You’ll Be Working On - Designing and managing telecom outside plant (OSP) projects within the POLE program - Interpreting and executing pole relocation and transfer designs - Working through detailed infrastructure layouts and design requirements - Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery - Supporting quality control and maintaining design standards across projects What They’re Looking For - 5+ years of telecom outside plant (OSP) design experience - Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD - Familiarity with the Telus ecosystem is highly preferred - Experience with both outside plant and inside plant design is an asset - Ability to work through complex design problems independently - Comfortable in a high-output, billable environment (this is a 90% billable role) Why This Role - Join a team of experienced designers working on meaningful infrastructure projects - Strong support system with ongoing training and mentorship - Opportunity to step into a senior-level role with real responsibility - Flexible work environment (remote or hybrid) - Stable pipeline of work within a growing program Torus Talent appreciates all applicants.
