Guardteck Operations Manager Department: Operations Reports To: Director of Operations About the Role We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead day-to-day service delivery across multiple sites and teams. This role is responsible for keeping operations aligned, teams supported, and client needs executed with consistency and urgency. This is not a desk-only leadership role. The right person will be a practical operator who can manage scheduling, deployment, compliance, and field support while also coaching frontline leaders and improving how work gets done. If you enjoy building structure, simplifying processes, and mentoring people in a fast-moving environment, this role may be a strong fit. What You’ll Do - Lead daily operations across multiple sites and teams - Oversee scheduling, deployment, and coverage coordination - Support site leaders with operational guidance, coaching, and accountability - Ensure compliance requirements are current, including training, certifications, and licence tracking - Monitor service delivery and respond quickly to operational issues - Coordinate logistics and field support needs - Use reporting and Excel-based analysis to identify trends and support decisions - Strengthen workforce planning and forecasting - Build consistency through better workflows, standards, and best practices - Partner with internal teams to resolve issues and improve execution - Support strong client service outcomes through reliable follow-through and communication - Train, mentor, and develop frontline leaders and team members What We’re Looking For - 3–5 years of leadership experience in operations, security, logistics, workforce coordination, or a related service environment - Strong experience with scheduling, deployment, and day-to-day operational execution - Demonstrated success leading, mentoring, and developing frontline teams - Experience supporting multi-site operations or field-based teams - Strong communication skills and professional client-facing presence - Strong Excel skills and comfort working with reporting and operational data - A resourceful, solution-oriented, and adaptable leadership style - Security industry experience is strongly preferred - Valid security licence is an asset What Success Looks Like In this role, success means: - teams are clear, supported, and accountable - staffing and deployment issues are managed proactively - compliance requirements stay organized and current - service delivery is consistent across sites - workflows become simpler, clearer, and more reliable - people are being coached, developed, and prepared for growth Who You Are You’re a leader, not a boss.
