Student Recruitment & Workforce Employment Lead (Funded Training Programs – PBLMT) Location: Surrey, BC (Ace Community College) Type: Full-Time | On-site Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 CAD Leadership Role About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced and well-connected Student Recruitment & Workforce Employment Lead to oversee funded training programs (PBLMT) at Ace Community College in Surrey. This is a leadership role responsible for the full pathway from student recruitment and enrolment through to employer placement and employment outcomes. You will play a key role in ensuring programs are fully enrolled, well-supported, and successfully connected to real job opportunities. We are specifically seeking someone who already has established relationships within the WorkBC network, employment service providers, and employer community, and can contribute immediately to both intake and placement outcomes. What You’ll Do • Lead student recruitment for funded training cohorts • Build and maintain referral pipelines through WorkBC Centres and community partners • Support intake screening, eligibility, and onboarding • Maintain strong working relationships with WorkBC case managers and employment counsellors • Act as the main liaison between the college and WorkBC Centres • Ensure consistent flow of referrals through existing networks • Develop and maintain employer relationships for job placements • Match program graduates with suitable employment opportunities • Support hiring and onboarding processes • Track and support employment outcomes • Work with instructors and program teams to align training with labour market needs • Monitor student progress from intake through to employment • Support reporting requirements for funded programs • Help achieve intake and placement targets What We’re Looking For • Strong existing relationships within the WorkBC employment network in BC • Experience in job development, workforce programs, recruitment, or funded training programs • Proven ability to generate student intake and employer job placements • Solid employer network in Surrey / Lower Mainland • Understanding of BC labour market and employment systems • Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes What Success Looks Like • Consistently filled training cohorts • Strong employer pipeline for placements • High placement and employment outcomes • Reliable intake-to-employment process • Achievement of funded program targets Important Requirement Candidates must have established relationships within the WorkBC employment ecosystem and experience generating program referrals and job placements.
