Out client is seeking a highly motivated Investment Operations Specialist to join our growing team in Burnaby, BC. This role sits at the heart of our client experience, supporting a global base of institutional and retail investors. The mission is to deliver distinctive, world-class service that leaves a lasting positive impression and builds long‑term client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing timely, accurate, and thoughtful communication

Support client onboarding processes, including facilitating account openings and maintaining up‑to‑date client records

Execute core operational processes related to transfer agency functions, including KYC, transaction processing, and client money reconciliations

Verify client transactions and validate sensitive client information with a high degree of accuracy

Collaborate closely with global Fund Operations teams and other business units to ensure seamless information flow

Identify opportunities for operational improvements and partner with technology teams to implement innovative solutions

Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders

What You Must Have

Undergraduate degree with a strong record of academic achievement

1–3 years of professional experience (including internships or co‑op placements) demonstrating growth and success

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage clients clearly and empathetically

Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work

Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset

High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly

Self‑starter mentality with a proactive approach to challenges
