The Industrial Instrumentation Department at BCIT seeks a qualified Faculty member to teach apprenticeship programs and diploma courses. Candidates should possess a Red Seal certification and extensive work history in industrial sectors such as Oil&Gas or Waste Water. Responsibilities include facilitating lectures, guiding lab sessions, and enhancing lesson plans to remain aligned with industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:• Teach Red Seal Instrumentation courses and diploma programs • Develop and refresh instructional materials continually • Lead students in practical laboratory settings • Stay connected with industry for curriculum relevance • Shift work and travel may be part of the role
Requirements:• Red Seal certification in relevant instrumentation fields • A minimum of five years’ industry experience • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written • Basic computer skills, including MS Office • Previous experience in teaching or training preferred
