Empower youth through technology as a Computer Trainer for Horizon Summer School in Victoria. Engage students in coding, robotics, and digital literacy during an 8-week program.

This position involves designing beginner lessons in Scratch and Python, guiding students through interactive projects, and fostering a curiosity-driven learning environment. You will prepare lesson materials, assist with tech setup, and help monitor student progress. The role culminates in a final showcase where students present their projects to families and community members.

Key Responsibilities:• Deliver engaging lessons in coding and digital skills • Set up computers or tablets for lessons • Support student projects and troubleshooting • Organize a final student showcase event • Keep a detailed daily work log

Requirements:• Aged between 15 and 30 years at job start • Possess a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident • Full-time commitment for 8 weeks required • In-person attendance essential throughout employment
