Experienced Outdoor Hiking Instructor Needed, Burnaby

This role is crucial in supporting inclusive outdoor recreation for community members of all ages. You will plan and lead hikes, assess site safety, and manage logistics, contributing significantly to participant satisfaction and safety. Key Responsibilities:• Conduct safe and engaging hikes in various parks • Utilize effective planning for trips and program materials • Maintain oversight of participant attendance and reporting • Assess safety conditions for trails and activities • Foster an inclusive environment promoting participant enjoyment

Requirements:• Relevant education or extensive experience in outdoor recreation • Minimum one year of related experience preferred • Valid Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C required • Strong communication and service skills necessary • Valid Class 4 Driver’s Licence is a strong asset
