Supply Department Frontline Cashier Associate (Burnaby)

Work Schedules: (Full Time) ·Monday to Thursday: 6:30 to 3 pm or 7 am to 3 pm and Friday: until 2pm Position Overview The Supply Department Frontline Cashier Associate plays a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience while supporting the daily operations of the supply department. This is a customer facing, fast-paced position that requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a service-oriented mindset. You will be responsible for accurately processing sales transactions, assisting customers in selecting floral and hard good products, and supporting stocking, repacking, and merchandising activities. This role requires the ability to multitask, work comfortably in a cool warehouse environment, and handle fragile products with care. As a frontline representative of United Floral, you will interact directly with customers, answer questions related to floral products and techniques, and help resolve inquiries or returns professionally. Working closely with the supply and warehouse teams, this position is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and supporting a positive and efficient shopping experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities Duties consistent with the position of receiver include, but are not limited to: - They are responsible for creating positive and meaningful customer experience. - Processing customers’ orders at the cash register by either scanning or inputting product numbers. - Must be willing to accept payments via credit or debit cards. - To bag items for customers. - To get products for customers in warehouse or store. - To help customers find the product best suited for their events. - To be able to answer customers’ questions regarding floral designs and techniques. - To resolve customer service issues, facilitate return transactions. - Responsible for stocking an area of the store. - Be willing to repack items for sale. Requirements - Minimun 1 year of experience - Floral shop experience (required) - Must be able to work in a cool warehouse. - Must be punctual, self-motivated, and able to work to a high degree of efficiency. - Must be able to stand for long periods of time. - Must demonstrate care in handling various fragile hard good products. - Must be punctual, self-motivated, and able to work to a high degree of efficiency. - Must maintain approachability and professional conduct with customers and fellow staff. - High capability in multi-tasking and working under pressure to meet operational deadlines. - Robust English language skills, both written and oral. - Computer software literacy is required. Warehouse Safety - Follow established safety protocols while working in the warehouse - Report any unsafe actions promptly reported to management.
