About the Role We are seeking a temporary hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to support shipping/receiving, inventory control, and overall warehouse operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, takes ownership of inventory accuracy, and is confident operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift. You’ll play a key role in ensuring materials are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently to support field operations and project timelines. This is a temporary 6month contract for fill-in. Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving Load, unload, and move materials using a sit-down counterbalance forklift Process and verify shipping/receiving documentation with accuracy Coordinate shipments with couriers including Canada Post, FedEx, UPS, and Purolator Stage, pack, and prepare outbound shipments based on customer/project requirements Prepare and stage materials for weekly field crew mobilization Load and secure construction materials onto trailers safely Inventory Management Perform cycle counts and full inventory counts (weekly, monthly, quarterly) Monitor inventory levels and order parts to maintain optimal stock Organize warehouse using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles Group project-specific materials for easy access and traceability Ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records Warehouse Operations & Maintenance Maintain a clean, secure, and organized warehouse environment Optimize storage layout and space utilization Support general warehouse upkeep and minor maintenance tasks Reporting & Communication Prepare and present inventory and warehouse reports Collaborate with internal teams to support project timelines Provide direction and support to warehouse staff as needed Promote a safety-first and team-oriented culture Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of forklift experience (sit-down counterbalance required) Valid Forklift Operator License (mandatory) Previous warehouse operations experience required Leadership or team lead experience is an asset Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Robust communication skills with a clear command of English Highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract Experience in the telecom or construction industry is an asset Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oqotc
