Based in Boston, this full time position involves supervising the crew while coordinating plant operations and compliance with regulations. You will address personnel safety, implement operating procedures, and collaborate on significant capital projects to maintain optimal performance. Your contributions will be vital to effective decision-making during manager absences. Key Responsibilities: - Direct operations to ensure safe and efficient power plant functioning - Provide training and vacation relief for shift supervisors - Actively participate in maintenance and outage planning - Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards - Communicate operational updates and issues to management Requirements: - Valid BC Interprovincial First or Second Class Power Engineer’s Certificate - Ten years of relevant supervisory experience in plant operations - Working knowledge of biomass systems in power plants - Proficient with maintenance management software - Required safety training certifications prior to employment Lead safety and efficiency initiatives as an Assistant Chief Power Engineer with Veolia North America, and drive impactful results in power management.
