Building Maintenance Technician Burnaby

Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive Building Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our facility. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks including handyman, pressure washing, window washing, drywalling, landscaping etc. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical skills, leadership qualities, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Prior supervisory experience and familiarity with manufacturing environments are highly desirable. Duties Perform pressure washing of building exteriors, walkways, loading docks, and other site surfaces to remove grime, stains, and buildup. Wash windows — interior and exterior — to maintain cleanliness and skilled appearance. Perform interior and exterior painting tasks including surface preparation (patching, sanding, priming) and applying paint to walls, trim, doors, ceilings and other areas as requested. Replace light bulbs and basic lighting components in common areas and exterior fixtures. Assist with roof and gutter cleaning to prevent buildup and drainage problems. Conduct light landscaping and property upkeep tasks (mowing, trimming, seasonal cleanup) as part of general facility maintenance. Perform routine inspections of assigned areas to identify appearance, safety and maintenance needs. Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in clean, safe, and organized condition. Follow company safety standards and procedures during all maintenance activities. Provide responsive, qualified service to internal clients and property occupants. BC driver's license is a must.
