Role Summary

We are hiring a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate - Shipping for full-time warehouse operations in Burnaby, BC. This critical role manages logistics and order fulfillment, ensuring inventory accuracy and the timely distribution of goods.

Position: Full-time, on-site

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (37.5 hrs/week)

Location: Burnaby, BC

Compensation: $20.00-24.00/hour

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of shipping and receiving duties.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments (parcels/skids) and verify key shipping documents (e.g., Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices).
• Coordinate carrier pickups and track logistics.
• Operate pallet jack equipment to safely unload incoming deliveries.
• Manage and organize materials in designated locations, support inventory control, and conduct physical counts.
• Assist with order fulfillment and order checking.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a shipper receiver, warehouse associate, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations principles.
• Exceptional detail-oriented nature, organizational skills, and spatial awareness for effective packing.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Tech-savvy with inventory management systems (WMS); Epicor Silk experience is an asset.
• Reliable team player with excellent time management.
• Openness to AI and process improvement.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
