Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology sales or product demos are considered advantageous. Responsibilities - Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases - Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges - Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with accuracy and integrity - Provide product information and perform product demos when needed - Upsell additional items or services to enhance customer satisfaction and sales - Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is clean and welcoming - Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management - Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times - Follow phone etiquette standards when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries Requirements - Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred - Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately - Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to perform product demos and explain features clearly - Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently - Professional appearance and positive attitude - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Pay: $27.99-$29.84 per hour Benefits - Flexible schedule Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ospf7
