Company Description Vital Growth Management Ltd. is a dynamic and expanding group of consumer brands within the dietary supplement and wellness industry. About the Role We are seeking a highly creative, organized, and execution-oriented Video Editor to support content production, short-form editing, social media content execution, and creative storytelling across multiple founder-led and consumer wellness brands. This role is ideal for someone who understands modern short-form content and social-first editing — not just basic video editing. You should understand pacing, hooks, retention, captions, storytelling, platform-native editing styles, and what performs across today’s social media platforms. You’ll help produce high-performing short-form content, repurpose long-form media into social-first assets, support paid media creative production, and ensure consistent creative execution across platforms including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, podcast platforms, and more. You’ll work closely with two Co-Founders, helping shape and amplify their personal brands while also supporting multiple fast-growing wellness and consumer brands. Key Responsibilities Short-Form Video Editing Edit and produce short-form video content across social platforms Create engaging edits using: Strong hooks Captions/subtitles Motion graphics Sound design Platform-native pacing Retention-focused editing styles Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form clips Edit content from: Podcasts Interviews Founder content Webinars UGC creators Event footage Paid media creatives Maintain strong creative quality and brand consistency across all brands Expected content volume: Up to 14 clips per week for one Founder brand Additional content support across multiple wellness brands Creative Collaboration & Content Support Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to identify: High-performing content opportunities Viral trends Platform-native editing styles Creative testing opportunities Support content ideation, hook development, storytelling improvements, and retention optimization Help evolve the creative quality and visual identity of Founder and brand content over time Content Operations & Workflow Manage editing timelines, revisions, and content delivery schedules efficiently Coordinate with internal teams on: Deliverables Deadlines Publishing priorities Creative revisions Organize project files, footage, assets, and editing workflows Support rapid-turnaround editing during launches, campaigns, podcasts, and live events What We’re Looking For Strong experience editing short-form social media content Strong understanding of: TikTok editing styles Instagram Reels YouTube Shorts Audience retention Hook optimization Viral content structure Ability to work quickly while maintaining solid creative quality Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience psychology Organized, proactive, and highly execution-oriented Comfortable working directly with Founders and fast-moving teams Ability to manage multiple brands and editing workflows simultaneously Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback quickly Preferred Skills Experience editing for: Wellness brands eCommerce brands Founder-led brands Direct response advertising Podcasts or YouTube channels Experience with: Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects CapCut DaVinci Resolve Motion graphics AI editing workflows/tools Understanding of paid media creative performance is a major plus Bonus Wellness, performance, or biohacking industry familiarity Experience creating paid social ad creatives YouTube content management experience Experience working with creators, influencers, or podcasts Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p5nyo
