Full-Time | Hybrid Work Environment

$120,000 – $160,000 + Benefits

Skyline Recruitment is working with a well-established employee-owned multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join their growing Vancouver team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to lead impactful water resources projects while working alongside respected industry leaders across Canada and North America.

The successful candidate will play a key role in technical project delivery, client relationship management, business development, and mentoring junior staff within a highly collaborative consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, modelling, and design projects
  • Design hydraulic structures, water conveyance systems, and storage infrastructure
  • Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, drawings, and engineering deliverables
  • Manage projects from proposal stage through design and project completion
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with internal technical specialists
  • Support budgeting, scheduling, and overall project management responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and support project pursuits
  • Mentor and support junior engineering staff and contribute to team growth
  • Conduct occasional site visits and field reviews as required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources (Master's degree considered an asset)
  • P.Eng. designation in British Columbia, or eligibility to obtain
  • 8+ years of relevant water resources engineering experience
  • Strong consulting and project management experience
  • Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and design
  • Experience with industry-standard water resources software and engineering tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and technical writing abilities
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects
  • Programming or scripting experience considered an asset
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites when required
