Job Overview We are seeking an Electrical Engineer / PCB Designer to lead the development of a highly integrated, cost-optimized PCBA for our next-generation robotic platforms. This role focuses on consolidating control logic, power distribution, and motor drive systems into a single, scalable motherboard. The primary objective is to complete the design cycle and deliver first functional prototypes by August 2026. Core Responsibilities - Full PCB Design Cycle: Execute schematic capture, high-density multi-layer layout, and generation of comprehensive manufacturing packages (Gerbers, BOM, Pick-and-Place files). - Embedded Systems Integration: Design and implement hardware architectures centered around ARM Cortex-M (STM32) microcontrollers. - Power & Motor Control: Design and optimize high-current motor driver circuits and power management stages integrated directly onto the main board. - Signal Integrity & Interfaces: Implement robust digital and analog interface designs, including UART, I2C, SPI, and CAN. - Cost-Sensitive Engineering: Perform strategic part selection to balance technical performance with high-volume scalability and cost efficiency. - Manufacturing Coordination: Interface with PCBA assembly partners to manage DFM/DFA reviews and ensure successful production runs. Technical Qualifications - Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. - MCU Proficiency: Direct experience with STM32/ARM hardware implementation. - CAD Tools: Mastery of skilled PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer). - Hardware Design: Proven experience in motor driver design, sensor integration (IMUs, digital sensors), and power electronics. - Manufacturing Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to manage the transition from design to physical assembly with external vendors. Compensation & Perks - Performance Bonus: Eligibility for bonuses based on technical KPIs and project milestones. - Milestone Incentive: Targeted completion bonus for the successful delivery of the prototypes. Project Deliverables - Complete schematic and optimized PCBA layout for the integrated system. - Technical documentation and assembly instructions for production. - Delivery of two fully functional prototypes by August 2026.
