Warehouse Associate/Helper (Burnaby)

Warehouse Associate Hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with half an hour for lunch (unpaid). Allied Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. is hiring a Warehouseman and Helper to join our Metro Vancouver team. Who We Are - Founded in 1991. - One of BC’s largest mechanical and plumbing contractors. - Strong focus on commercial and multi-family buildings. - Established service division supporting a large existing customer base. Key Responsibilities - Pick up material, supplies and parts from suppliers and deliver them to customer - job sites. - Pick up unused material, supplies and parts from customers and return them to - suppliers. - Withstand hours of work while standing, crouching or taking other rigorous - positions. - Maintain accurate inventory records. - Be able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Tool tracking and tool maintenance. - Keep warehouse / shop organized and clean. - Stage and organize parts for each approved work order. - Be a positive representative of Allied to customers onsite. Performance Expectations - Shop clean and organized. - Warehouse / shop operating smoothly, effectively and efficiently. What You Bring – Required - Good communication and interpersonal skills with clients and office staff. - Valid BC Driver’s License with clean driving record. - Comfortable using mobile devices and cloud-based software. - Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy materials safely. - Attention to detail. - Able to pass a criminal record check. What You Bring – Preferred - Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical supply environments. - Basic knowledge of tools, parts, and materials used in mechanical or plumbing - work. - Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts). - Experience coordinating with tradespeople working on construction sites. - Previous warehouse, delivery, or logistics experience. - Organizational and time-management skills.
