Role and Responsibilities: Candidates must have experience working within the asset management, investment management, or wealth management industry. Experience limited to commercial banking, retail banking, or general financial services is not sufficient for this role. - Lead client-facing workstreams or small projects, ensuring delivery is on time, well-structured, and aligned to client expectations. - Create high-quality, client-ready deliverables, including presentations, analysis, recommendations, process documentation, and project materials. - Manage project plans, risks, issues, decisions, timelines, and stakeholder follow-ups to keep work progressing effectively. - Apply strong analytical thinking to structure ambiguous problems, identify patterns, develop hypotheses, and support recommendations with relevant facts, examples, and industry insight. - Bring credible industry knowledge across asset management, investment management, or wealth management operating models, with developing expertise in at least one in-demand functional area. - Communicate clearly and confidently with day-to-day and senior client stakeholders, including leading meetings and presenting complex information in an accessible way. - Build trust with clients and internal teams by managing expectations, driving alignment, escalating appropriately, and adapting communication style across stakeholders. - Manage and develop junior team members by delegating effectively, providing timely feedback, monitoring workload, and creating a supportive team environment. - Contribute to Cutter’s growth by identifying potential client opportunities, supporting proposals or thought leadership, and participating in firm-building initiatives. Qualifications: - Consulting or professional services experience within asset management, investment management, or wealth management; commercial/retail banking experience alone is not sufficient. - Strong project and workstream management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, risks, decisions, deliverables, and stakeholder follow-ups. - Proven ability to create and deliver client-ready materials, including presentations, analysis, recommendations, process documentation, and project artifacts. - Solid client-facing communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, present complex information clearly, and build trust with senior and day-to-day stakeholders. - Experience managing, mentoring, or coaching junior team members, including delegating work and providing actionable feedback. - Ability to contribute to business development through identifying client opportunities, supporting proposals, developing practice materials, or contributing to thought leadership.
