Graphic Designer (Burnaby)

Overview We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and a robust background in digital and print design. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including UI design, motion graphics, logo creation, and marketing materials. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard tools and possess a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, and user experience. Responsibilities - Develop compelling visual designs for digital platforms, including websites, social media, and marketing campaigns. - Create engaging motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects and other relevant software. - Design logos, branding elements, and visual assets that align with client or company branding guidelines. - Produce high-quality print materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations using Adobe InDesign and CorelDRAW etc. - Maintain consistency in typography, color schemes, and overall visual style across all projects. - Present design concepts clearly to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively to refine final outputs. Qualifications - Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing digital design, branding, and motion graphics work. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe After Effects, Sketch, CorelDRAW, Figma, InVision, HTML/CSS/JavaScript basics, and WordPress. - Strong understanding of typography principles and visual design best practices. - Experience with digital marketing campaigns and creating assets optimized for various platforms. - Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly to clients or team members. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
