Role Description This is an on-site, contract role for Construction Subcontractors – All Trades, located in Metro Vancouver A, BC. Subcontractors will perform trade-specific work such as framing, finishing, concrete, electrical, mechanical, or other construction services in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks may include site mobilization, material handling, layout and installation, coordination with other trades, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Subcontractors will attend site meetings as required, communicate progress and issues to EMCORP site supervisors, and comply with all applicable building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Documentation of work performed, participation in inspections, and timely completion of assigned tasks within agreed schedules and scope are core expectations. Qualifications - Demonstrated trade-specific skills and experience in one or more areas (e.g., carpentry, concrete, electrical, mechanical, drywall, painting, finishing, or related construction trades). - Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and related documentation. - Solid understanding of construction site safety practices, provincial regulations, and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. - Ability to coordinate effectively with general contractors, site supervisors, and other subcontractors to maintain workflow and meet project timelines. - Access to required tools, equipment, and a reliable means of transportation to Metro Vancouver A job sites. - Valid trade certifications, tickets, or licenses applicable to the subcontractor’s scope of work (Red Seal or equivalent considered an asset). - Current WorksafeBC coverage (or equivalent), appropriate liability insurance, and ability to provide references from recent projects. - Proven reliability, professionalism, and commitment to quality workmanship and adherence to project schedules.
