Responsibilities The Data Solutions Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data solutions that advance TransLink’s strategic goals for data-driven decision-making and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Key responsibilities include ensuring secure, reliable, and accessible data platforms, developing and optimizing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes and evaluating emerging technologies. Applies TransLink-approved methodologies and best practices to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions Qualifications EDUCATION: Required a diploma in computer science from a recognized institute of technology including courses in database design, programming, business and systems analysis. EXPERIENCE: Requires three (3) years recent related experience in cloud technologies, data warehousing, business intelligence, information management, or data analytics. Must have hands-on experience delivering data products and insights using a range of data analytics and visualization tools to support diverse client needs. An additional period of up to one (1) year in the position is typically required to gain comprehensive knowledge of TransLink’s information systems, policies, procedures, corporate environment, user requirements, data models, and strategic roadmaps. Other Information Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions. Work Schedule 37.5 hours per week. This is a full-time temporary position for 12 months. Work Designation Hybrid This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C. Rate of Pay Salary $8,236 - $9.896 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity). The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public
