Electrician (Bolton)

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrician to join our team at Northwest Enclosures, a rapid-growing company. This role is key for our recent expansion to the Eastern part of Canada, with a new facility located in Bolton, Ontario. With support from the Lead Electrician, the electrician will install, examine, test and maintain electrical systems within the Toronto facility and the enclosures that we assemble for customers. Responsibilities - Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components - Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance - Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors - Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems - Required to attend daily shop production meetings - Participate and assist the entire team to ensure quality control meets high company standards - Adhere to safety standards and procedures with continuously changing working environments Qualifications - Effective organization and communication skills with customers, inspectors and coworkers in both verbal and written forms - Technical skills for interpreting construction methods and technologies along with contracts and technical drawings - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently - Great Spatial visualization - Resourceful - Strong understanding of AC and DC electrical systems, electrical theory and safety protocols - Required to have experience with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code - Ideal to have a basic understanding in Generator / Electrical House industry Work Location & Hours: In person for 40hrs a week at 151 Parr Blvd, Bolton, Ontario. Shifts will start as Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm with a 30min unpaid lunch break. Future shifts will be Monday-Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm. Overtime may be available.
