Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Injection Machine Operator to join our client a busy Plastic Manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience in operating molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse setting, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities Operate and monitor injection molding machines to ensure optimal production efficiency. Fabricate and assemble components as per specifications. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Quality inspection checks of products as needed Following all GMPs as outlined Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Document production data and report any discrepancies or defects. Requirements Manufacturing experience of 2+ years Plastics industry experience is an asset Familiarity with warehouse operations and GMPs, Health and Safety safety protocols. Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience with machining processes is preferred. Ability to use hand tools effectively, including calipers for accurate measurements. Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is required. Experience with lathe operations is advantageous. Robust attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
